Ordered the 03... 41U Ext/70U Int
Got the call yesterday telling me GM had given the dealer an opportunity for an extra 03 Z06 to make up for shortfall they encountered in their 02 allocation.
It didn't matter to me what the story was, I was there in a hour and ordered a Black/Mod Red.
Although most of us ordered cars without knowing the delivery dates, this is the first one I have ever ordered without knowing the price. :)

Good color choice. I expect the prices to go up slightly. Did the dealer give you an idea on a delivery date?

No indication on a delivery date. Makes it difficult to decide the best time to sell the 01. With our climate, interest in these types of cars drops off around Sept. and no one gets too excited until the next spring. Probably save the hassle and just trade it in.

The black color code on GM's software for 03 was 41U Black.
That is all I can go by at this point. :seeya

I also have ordered a '03 ZO6 without knowing the price. Also as you, I too have ordered black and torch red interior. The star black is on hold along with the new spiral gray. My dealer said that they have two Z's alocated for July and I am one of them who will be getting one. The order is already sent in and should be getting back with me in a few days on production week. "Guestamation" End of June to the end of July. Good luck and hope you have the R8C option! :cool:

Unfortunately, R8C is not available on Canadian orders. I have had no indication when the car will be here. No hurry, as I am enjoying the 01 big time.

I expect to hear tomorrow on my 2003 Z06 order as well. At this point all I know for certain is that my dealer has 2 Z06's in the first allocation group. One is mine and it is RC8 optioned.

I guess I should be extra thankful. There have always been Z06s on the floor here in Dallas. I signed the papers on my 02 while it was still on the truck.
If I had to wait, I think I would go crazy. You guys who not only have to wait, but have a specific delivery date are some TOUGH dudes. Maybe we can come up with a 'I Waited' campaign ribbon... heh, heh...

glad to see someone else take the plunge without knowing the price...when I ordered my Z in May of 2000, not only did I not have any idea what the price would be, I also didnt have any idea what the car was going to look like :eek:
