Default Tire & wheel Question

I run 19x11's on the back of my 01 Vert. I have talked to a few people and heard both ways, and now I am doing more homework and research.

I know it all depends on manufacturer, but will a 335/30 19 fit on a 19x11?

according to most tire manufacturers the standard rim width for a 335x30x19 size tire would be 12". They will list a range from 11.5" to 12.5" as acceptable. Can you mount it on an 11" width rim....probably but it would not be optimum. Others with more knowledge will add input.

For the price I have been offered by my buddy for these new tires, I could live with non optimum...especially since they are 1/3 of what I can get them for even on tire rack...

Manufacturers do not recommend it because you can pop the bead off the rim (on the inside). Not a good thing to do for a safety point of view. Manufacturers want to sell tires and if there was any way it was safe they would say so. Not as important is poor wear patterns and handling..

Well at $300.00 for 2 new tires I was not worried about wear....safety on the other hand is what I was a major concern.

What about a 305/30 19

I have been running 325/30 19's, but it seems options are limited, the only tire that I found that I liked in those sizes are Nittos.

BTW, LOVE the hood, that is the one I plan on going with when I get to swapping my stocker

I ran a 325/30/19 Nitto Invo on an 11" rim for a while before widening my wheels without any issues (actually autocrossed it). The Nittos fit very well but they are rumored to fit a tad bit smaller than most manufacturers for the same size.
