03 Z lost tune

I need help or some info on why a car can or will lose it tune or as the guy says it is the timing being out. No codes other than a p0102 which he says is from the speed density setup on car. Highly modded car with 383 procharger ls3 motor with 3500 miles. Thank for any help or advice you give.

That's just it. It's been sitting in the garage or driving when the weather was good. The last time in for any work was back in October.

Unless the ECM got re-flashed, or you have a bad ECM - the car won't loose a tune. IF the battery goes bad, then the LTFT's and a few other things are reset, and the car has to relearn them.

If timing is getting pullled, it's possible the knock sensors are being tripped, and ECM is responding by pulling a few degrees.

What is your friend using for data-logging?

I'm trying to get my hands on one so I can see what is going on inside the motor. The guy did tell me that it had done that to him once or twice the last time he had the car. He said it seem like when the weather changed it would pull all the timing. He just reflashed it and it work fine till now.
