When painting calipers

I sanded the letters with a sanding block first then painted the whole thing. I then used the razor blade trick and resanded a little bit. It was easier than I thought it would be.

I sanded the letters after the color, then clear coated.
Rotor hats black and the rotor vents black as well because rust sucks!

Use lacquer thinner, paint thinner won't cut it. Wipe off right away.

I think the general concensus here is to paint a bit more than you think, as you WILL be able to see it even through the wheels.
Take your time, do it right the FIRST time and enjoy.

i painted mine with VHT high temp clear coat. they still look shiny new.

I tried scraping and sanding. Ended up using the super fine brush in the walmart assortment and painted the letters. Easy.
