Mine seems to do this at randome times. Sometimes it jerks/sticks going through the start up sweep and then just hangs at a random number. I wonder if pulling the gauge cluster and checking something inside is going to be next to be done?

I just did white face gauges and bezels then my tach began doing the same. I havent tore it apart yet but have been told in the wire bundle there is a white wire that controls the tach. Hve to ensure its getting good contact and may have to adjust it then wire tie it. Hoping to get to this later today.

But you have diff problem here with the white face,s on your the hands are rubbing on the face. you have to pull the black faces off and put the white one,s back. This is only on the 2 big gauges.. Robert

Actually not rubbing just the tach acting random. But will post later tonight after i get in there and figure it out. Thinking the wire is a good place to start.

On mine 2 big one,s did what you are saying but only with the white faces in place. I didnt want to pull the black faces off so I have the 4 white small one in place with the 2 big black looks ok to me and diff than all black are stock.. I never did have a problem with them befor are now since I pulled the white faces off the the bigger one,s.. Robert
