Folks, I'm close to buying 2004 Convertible and the owner has the original window sticker. The owner claims it's a Z51 car and had one of the options packages on it (can't remember which one).. sorry.
The sticker shows a number of options, HUD, dual power seats, etc, etc, but nowhere did I see it say anthing about having an option package, (like 1SB), nor did I see it say anything about Z51.
He did show me an original ad from the dealer that listed both of these, but this was not a GM document. How do I know if it really is a Z51 car and which option package it had? Would these be on the original window sticker? If so, where? Could be I overlooked it.

Is your car an A4?
If so it will have a 3.15 in the diff, Also in the glove box is the rpo codes, If it is infact it will have Z51 listed on the sheet in the glove box.

I ordered my 2002 new and ordered the Z51 option. On the sticker it should show Performance Handling Package as a $395 option. If it's not on the sticker you don't have it.
Also, as pointed out by Mr. Bill it will show Z51 on the glovebox rpo code.
It wouldn't hurt either to double check the VIN # on the sticker to the one on the car to make sure they match.

If it is a Z51 the price difference on a used car of that year shouldn't be a significant amount over a non Z51 optioned car. The Z51 option was only a few hundred $ if I remember right. Granted it would be better if it did have it
