Default caravaggio hood

looking at the caravaggio high rise hood and like the weight savings. the composite weighing in at 18lbs is enticing if. a few ?? of people who have installed there hise hood.

1. how well does the hood fit and aline overall like around headlights along fenders and with front bumper
2. is composite hood a carbon fiber or what is it and if carbon fiber can it be cleared over
3. can oem hood pistons be reused on hood or are they to strong and 15lb pistons be needed to elevate opened hood
4. does anyone have close up pics of fitment
5. does caravaggio offer forum members any kind of discount

thanks for any help in advance

I have the caravaggio high rise hood in fiberglass. The fit was wonderful.

My comment is that I like the looks of the hood.
I think it flows with the looks of our C/5's.
My preferrence would be the MCM Motor City Mold, carbon Fiber, Maggie Hi Rise, painted to match the car but with a clear coat over the un painted carbon, center section

John Carvaggio makes premium stuff, never any problems quality wise with anything he makes, not the cheapest out there, but best quality on all products for sure - just pull the trigger and be happy

I don't think you'll go wrong with a Caravaggio product. I wouldn't mind having one of their hoods on my car.

Default Not for Maggie 2300

The hoods look great but will not clear a Maggie 2300 blower without cutting out the back support to fit over the back pulleys.
