howdy just bought a 2002 with 28k miles because after buying a different car every 3 months for the last 4 years I decided to get the car I have wanted since I was a child(except this one is automatic for now at least)
only mods so far are a full billy boat exhaust from the headers back. and a glass spare roof(cracked soon to be replaced)
just figured I would say hello
anyone know how much it is to have a shop swap a 6 speed in it including parts?
heres my car and I also my other hotrod
I am a truck driver that is home once every two weeks and barely get to drive a car because I do 3000 miles a week in a Kenworth
I feel like I finally made it at the young age of 24
also will a 2008 automatic shift **** fit these cars?
Your vette is beautiful, but as a guy who also drove trucks
in the wholesale milk business why would you want a six speed.
After 2 weeks of punching those gears on the interstate
enjoy that automatic on your weekends off. Im 65 and would
never want tp push on a clutch again. Good Luck with you new vette
Welcome to the forum. Your newVette is nice looking. (I too was a driver and I'm so happy I got the auto instead of the 6 speed.) After shifting all week it was a pleasure to just sit back and be cool. hahaha That hot rod is beautiful. That's something I always wanted to build. Good luck with both.

Man, if you've bought and sold that many cars in the past, then I'm willing to bet that you'll be selling this car come summertime so that you can buy a 6 speed.

Wow, that is quite the arrangement you've got worked out there!

I have had well over 30 cars since I started driving at 16 and I am 24 now... within the last 6 months alone its been 99jeep wrangler on 35s, I bought a 2008 cbr 600, I bought a 03 vstar 650 custom built, I got engaged and bought an hhr, I broke up and got a 2005 mini s 6 speed and a tbucket, and sold all the toys but the tbucket and bought a corvette
well I plan to keep this car and swap a 6 speed if I really dislike the auto(anyone know the cost of having a shop do this)
