I am looking to make the car look lower and protect the undercarriage. May sound stupid, but can anyone suggest a foam or composite that will absorb shock if it hits the ground and look good on the car? has anyone tried this? any feed back is appreciated.
Thank you,
Mark G.

Not sure about any type of foam, however I have a friend who applied the spray on bed liner material to the bottom of a carbon fiber splitter he installed to help with any scraping. Not sure how effective it was however I like the idea.
I actually don't want it any lower. The idea is that it protects the bumper and side skirts. looking even lower would be a beneficial side effect. So I guess I'm asking if anyone that has make side skirts or has done body work knows of a material that would work. Something that you could hit the ground with and not get damaged and protect the car.

If you just want it to "look lower", try standing on your house roof. Might help.
As I'm sure you have heard many times. "DON'T QUITE YOUR DAY JOB" I just never thought I would hear from the person they actually made the saying about.
