I hope I dont get flamed with "SEARCH, NOOB!" for asking this, but I cant find my answer anywhere My 99 FRC seems to pretty much be a no frills ride. No HUD, AM/FM Cassette, pretty much nothing but raw horsepower Anywho, my first upgrade is going to be the head unit, and my question is this: If there are NO Bose emblems to be found anywhere in the car, am I to assume I DONT have the Bose speakers? I would prefer this, cause I'd rather put my own speakers/amps in later without having to rewire the entire car.
You wont have to rewire the entire car. If you do have the Bose take um out. They are not great anyway. You will need a roem vet adapter to hook up aftermarket radio if you are using stock speakers. Contact Dennis at DD mods for all your audio needs he is the man and his prices, products and most of all service is the best. Dont even bother shoping any where else. If you not happy with DD's, than you just cant be happy.
Best to you sir

Ok, now Im confused. I thought if I dont have the Bose system, then I dont need the roem vet adapter? Doesnt this just make it so your aftermarket hu runs the bose amps? Plz correct me if Im wrong!
