Btw, there's no difference between the Black vs. Red. Same urethane used in each, only the color is different. I did a quick look and Summit seems to have decent prices, but like I said, shop around. Some places will try to screw you on the pricing.

I've had mine installed for approx 13,500 miles now. They were specifically inspected when I had my new motor installed in January and they were fine. I also have a ceramic-coated 1/4" thick tunnel plate installed as well so I haven't had any heat issues at all.

The Drive Shaft Shop makes some as well, but their design (and cost) is different. Of course you can also step up to a Pfadt carbon-fiber driveshaft for $2000 or an ECS u-joint based driveshaft for maybe the same price.
what Kit are you getting and why are you replacing the clutch at 53000. I have 47000 on mine and it seems fine. Are you having trouble or just upgrading?
it wont hold a launch over 3200 rpm on et streets at the track bone stock. so i went with the full drop in kit for a c5 level 3 monster. also i might be getting a d1 sooner then originally thought
