Default Coilover Questions

Did a search and did not see what I'm looking for.

What is the spring rate of the standard coilover setups?

What is the spring rate of the leaf springs on a standard C5?

I'm assuming that to install the coilovers, you just remove the leaf springs and shocks, and the new coilovers attach to the same mounting points as the stock shocks. Is that correct?

Depends on which Coilover manufacturer you choose and how you set them

If I remember correctly - F 650# R 850#

Not sure about the spring rates...my Pfadts are adjustable. Yes they mount up in the original shock locations.

All you have to do is call the vendors and ask them. Randy at Doug Rippie Motorsports(a forum vendor) can answer your questions. He even gave me the lengths for the spring adjustments so I didn't have to fool around adjusting the shocks to keep the car at its lowered height.
