Nice job on the detailing. IMO, the artic white with the special effects will look good as long as you do the job right by taking the panels off the car and painting them. Good luck if you go through with it and be sure to post up the pics.

We have at least another Month around here before it comes out. For now I walk by it very quietly so as not to wake it up.

I am tired of Winter and Cold !!!!

I think it's illegal to paint a red Corvette any other color, isn't it?

I personally would only put a custom paint job on a car that needs a total overhaul in the looks dept. Of course I am partial to your original color

Agreed, the car looks great. It's going to be VERY expensive to get a color change done the right way.

thanks guys, i have been having second thoughts on painting it. i got a really good price to get it done but now after getting her cleaned up and really thinking about it i just think im going to keep it as is. with the way the roads are around here id go insane if i had fresh paint on the car.

Your car looks great! You're probably looking at 10-15k to change the color the right way. Unless you go to Maaco that is

Leave it as is! It's not like it's an ugly color to begin with. A full repaint is never going to be the same as a factory job, unless of course you drop a TON of $$$.

thanks guys. i did get a killer quote on a show quailty paint job but i think im going to pass right now. the car looks good. i would go insane driving the car on the CT roads. one rock chip and i would flip with new paint lol..

i do have a question for everyone tho. instead of getting paint im going to get wheels/tires and sell my current setup.

so far this is what i want, and i would like recommendations on tire sizes as im a little confused with them.

looking at black chrome c6 z06 replicas 17x9.5 from 18x10.5 rears.
305 35 18 MT ET drag radials for the rear
as for front im unsure as to what size i should look for and what brand etc. any inputs?

i do not want to worry about codes etc.
