Since someone cried about my complaint in a forsale thread I'll look out for the members that care here There are a LOT of these "switchbacks" being sold lately both Gen1 and Gen2They ARENOT brighter and are difficult at best to see when the lights are on. I had to remove mine as they do NOT meet DOT regulations and I was almost in several accidents due to lack of visability by other drivers. They give you the impression that they can be seen easily but that is actually not true and then you are told to hold it to a 9volt battery to make sure the bulb works. I was told that since the bulb actually illuminates that it's not coveren by the "lifetime warranty" So just so everyone knows, before you almost get killed like I almost did, make sure you actually check them to see how bright they are with the headlights on and you will be surprised to see that if you are another vehicle you can not actually see them flash! This thread will probably get deleted because they are a vendor but if it saves someones life then so be it. If you don't believe me, cover the shipping and I'll give you mine to draw your own conclusions before you waste your money on something that could end up getting you killed If they sell an all amber bulb that is the way to go to make sure you are seen! Happy shopping and be safe out there !

I have had switch backs for years and I have no issues with them at all, They are very visible with my projector lights on. I like them and would buy them again.
You can't blame the switchbacks for you almost getting into an accident.

I think this thread fizzed out.
wow, thats clever! I bet you're 3 year old daughter taught you that line. if they are SO good as you claim, then why doesn't the company stand by tjheir claim? of a lifetime warranty and check the bulb themselves and they would see that the bulb is defective. and see that? I've since put in a new solid amber bulb and have gotten rid of the "white, but the white was way to powerful and would not turn off when the T/S was activated. I understand that the white isn't suppose to stay on but all the other bulbs work in those sockets so the company should stand by their product and at least listen to their customersThats what I'm pissed about. They're not even offering customer service at all. Hell, if they would at least TRY to correct the problem, I'd buy yhem for ALL my cars that take that type of bulb and I'd buy the Gen 2's for more $ cuz the picture looks a lot better, but after the purchase they didn't offer ANY customer service at all
I love mine! Yea the DRL's are just a tad duller, but on a gloomy day, I just turn on my running lights, that way I get the LED's lit up, my Halo tails, light the Halo, and when I use my turn indicators they (front corners) glow from amber to white, back and forth, adding more attention to whatever it is I happen to be doing.
If you don't like them, I am sure there would be someone here on the forum that would take them off your hands!
