Finally got my SLP spoiler in and installed. The entire front edge didn't stick and after close inspection I realized that the small lip along the front edge was thicker than the tape. I was able to lift it enough to get another run of tape along the edge and everthing is OK now. I like it.
It's drizzling rain this morning but I plan to dry it off and put the cover back on later this morning.
I really like the SLP spoiler, think I am going to put one on ours. Couple of questions though. How is the paint match? Did it come with any of the two sided tape on or did you need to put it all on? How long did it take you to install? One person install or need more hands? What did you use as a line up point?

I cannot answer for the OP, but I have the exact same spoiler and I got it from RPI Designs and yes the color match was spot on and it came with the tape and instructions. I suggest that you have an extra pair of hands to help. I first test fitted the spoiler and applied painters tape at the front and rear edges of the spoiler so when I was ready to install it it went right back it the spot of the test fit.

How durable is it, specifically the tape being used? Let's say someone rested their hand on the apex of it - is it going to give way sort of thing?
The paint matched perfect. I bought mine from RPI because they had the best price. The tape comes on a roll and you must first put it on the spoiler. Like I said before my front lip was too deep and I ended up going to Lowes and buying another roll. They didn't have 1/4" so I bought 1" outdoor tape which looked just like the roll that came with the spoiler. The back was stuck but I was able to raise the front enough to get another run of tape almost all the way across the front.
I've had mine from SLP for serveral yrs now & no issues. Suggest a helper for instal, a hair dryer, 2 inch painters tape. Dry fit & index b-4 instal. My vette is TR so I used a red marker on the edge of the tape (tape was white) in case any was visable. A black marker on the edges of the tape could also be a option IMO. I placed the tape approx 1/8 inch from the edges. Good luck!

I also got a SLP spoiler from RPI. They painted it electron blue and the paint and match is perfect. They delivered it to me at Corvettes at Carlisle and I saved on shipping. Great people to work with.

i got mine a couple of days ago from RPI also... paint looks good and when i test fitted with the tape installed on the inside of the spoiler it lines up pretty good everywhere except for both ends right towards the tip on the side closest to the front of the car... there is maybe an 1/8" gap right on that corner on both sides... i'm going to try to move the tape a little farther back on the corners and cross my fingers that the gap goes away... if it doesn't i'm not sure if i will install it or not, we will see this weekend
What about the handeling? The GM engineers have gone to a lot of trouble to design the cars to handle very nicely without a spoiler. Does it inhance the handling character of the car?

First let me say, that there are no ill effects with it on. A spoiler on as tree car is more for looks than enhanced down force. You most like would not see in real down force on the car unless you are at a high speed and most like likely that would be above the posted limit on the interstate.
Most likelly I won't be getting mine up to the supersonic speeds anyway. LOL
I have to say that it really does look good on there. I have been looking at the Shark front end, and with the spoiler on the rear, how gresat would that look. Gotta save my pocket change.....for awhile.
