Looking for a Chrome Alternator and Bracket???
Does anyone know where to get a triple chrome alternator and bracket for a decent price. The Vette tax on these is ridiculous! $750-800 for both!
Who has a chrome alternator on their car?
Any help and knowledge would be great

Yes they are in deed expensive. I found one on here I believe that came off a different year but checked around and was told it would fit. The alternator is bad but I am going to just use the housing for my guts when I get the time to do it. Good luck finding one.

I agree. Check out Mike's website as he has a lot of color and finish options:

I have been kicking this around for several years. The price for good quality is a bit scary, but I wouldn't mind it so much if replacing the stupid bracket wasn't such a PIA. Every time I talk myself into buying the bracket and alternator, I look at how much stuff has to come out before you can even remove the old bracket....

"You like the bling eh!".
The chrome does look good, however I can't get past the sticker shock either that's why I'm considering a black powder coat .

I already called Vette Nutz, they can't get them either!
I have called over 15 places, seems that they all get them from TUFF STUFF and they are the ones that are back ordered as they are having a hard time getting alternators from GM!
