Ok so about 3 weeks ago I needed to drop out my drive trian to find out what the heck was making noise when I would take off in first or when I put it into reverse. Here is what I have found not looking good I have bought a new slave but I am worried it will happen again. Please look at pictures and comment on what you see.
Thanks
Dale
Pic #1 this is a picture of the inside area of my slave notice the groove about 1 to 1-1/2 inches down.
Pic #2 this picture is of the shaft that comes out of the front of the T.T. see the shinny rasied part.
Pic #3 is a side shot of the shaft a the metal shavings that are over my T.T.
Pic#4 this is a picture of the back of the slave with metal chips all over it
Pic#5 is of a lot of metal shavings that I wiped out of T.T.

For starters
I would closely check and/or replace the pilot bearing in the crankshaft. Next I would closely check and/or replace, as needed, the front support bearings for the input shaft inside to the torque tube.

LoneStarFRC thanks for your response after looking at this the front part of the shaft looks like it is worn out. I can grab the end of the shaft and it moves up and down at least a 1/32 I just had this rebuilt about 12k miles ago. I will take this apart later today and figure out whats up do you know where I can get spec. for run out and wear I have all the tools needed to do this as where I work we make shafts as long as the T.T.

AFAIK, I suspect the only specs for what you're asking about are something only the OEM manufacturer (Unidrive) had/has when the assembly was manufactured, etc.
Having said that however, you can replace the internal bearings in that front section (and rear as well) of the propeller shaft. I would also closely examine the TT iself to see if the support bearing is loose or sloppy where it sits inside the TT itself when installed. Re-check your couplers too to ensure they, or at least the front one, is not shot allowing run-out/wobble/vibration of that splined input shaft.
Depending on what you find, and the $$ involved, I have been seeing complete used TT assemblies going for $350 - $600 (depending on source).
LoneStarFRC thanks for your input I have got it all together now new Pilot Bearing new slave and tomorrow I will be fixing the end of the drive shaft that goes into the Pilot bearing total cost 220.00
