Just wanted to post regarding MGW shifters. Purchased a shifter for my 04 C5Z. Install video helped me do it myself and when I screwed up on tightening the shift rail lock bolt one of the owners (George) took my call and walked me through getting it right.
All I wanted to say is that the shifter works GREAT as I love the short throw and close gates. MGW is a super group of folks who care about the customer and their satisfaction. www.mgwltd.com
I'm anxiously waiting for mine to come in the mail. 3-4 week lead time. I ordered mine a week ago.
I have also heard it is the best. Gonna put in my Ipod kit that I ordered from Double D at the same time.
MGW shifter was an easy install and shifts perfect and accurately. Ill be honest and say that at the beginning, I had a little trouble with fast 4-5 shifts because the shifter is so tight I would accidentally throw it into 3rd. After a few days you become an expert.

mgw gets my vote too, its a quality piece... it was a little stiff for my liking but after doing the antivenom mod with 1 washer its perfect... paired with a c6 shaft/**** I don't think it could get any better
How long did it take you to get it once ordered? Just curious, I've only had mine order for a little more then a week now.
I ordered mine over the holidays and they were shutdown at the time. When they did open back up they had to make some more so the total time turned out to be 3-4 weeks. The car was in storage so the delay was no big deal to me.
Another happy MGW owner here. Mine started to rattle a couple of weeks ago. Emailed George and he suggested I silicone my **** on. Quiet as a mouse now and I installed mine with the old style shift box. Great product, company and customer service.
