wiper switch help
So I had my first problem with my c5. 15k miles and a year and half,, prob free,,,till. Pulled off my car cover, started it up, and wipers sprayin all my wiper juice out?? Had to pull the fuse??? How do I repair,,not replace? Is their a fix?? Hate to disassimble for no repair, new switch is pricey?? Only 40k on the clock

Man I wish I would of took pics, same thing was happening to me in my 01. I just replaced the wiper arm. I went on ecklers website and found it for cheap. Center console has to come out, steering column cover, it's tricky but nothing that cannot be done in about 2-3 hours... That's with a few breaks lol. My car only has 65,000 on it so idk if mileage means anything I think it's just a problem that happens.

You may be able to repair the existing wiper switch. If you look in there you will find two little springs. Replace them with one, similar to the type in a ball point pen. You may have to play with the length. Put the spring in and pop the little button back in. Usually works. Has worked on mine for a long time.
