There have been a lot of recent threads on this subject the past few weeks, if you do a search you will find all your answers.
For the record I am in the process of taking out my F45 stuff and going with C6z shock, sways and end links!

Safety Car
The labour was easy, a few short hours including "beverage" breaks, and the improvement was pretty dramatic in cornering and handling etc, did mine 3 years ago and glad I did.

Melting Slicks
I upgraded my '98's base suspension with C6 Z-51 shocks and sway bars. Easy to do and one of the best bangs for the bucks mod you can do. The car handles much better than before, but still maintains a comfortable ride. You could go a step further and use the Z-06 shocks and sways for probably even "tighter" handling, but the ride might get a bit rougher, too. Can't say about that though, as I'm fine with comfort.

All Aboard!!!
I did the C6Z51 sways with the metal end links and it improved my handling dramatically. I have since installed pfadt adjustable shocks which have helped the ride since I'm lowered on stock bolts.
I don't think you could go wrong with this upgrade.
