does your intake
does your intake say like a vararam setup with powerduct ..does it rub on your hoodliner? mine rubs on the very bottom of my hoodliner and it drives me nuts..and know of a fix for this

I'm curious to know which aftermarket CAIs do NOT rub on the stock or aftermarket hoodliner. I've read both Vararam and the Calloway Honker do.

I run the Blackwing on mine and it does not rub. I did ensure that the air duct was pushed down as far as it would go on the two posts on top of the top radiator shroud though.

yes mine does vararam with power duct. i took my liner off but it still rubs on the hood just a little though. i like it better with out the liner.

I just installed a blackwing and was thinking about getting a power duct is there a noticeable difference between it and oem?

My vararam intake and vararam power duct combo does not rub, but I have read that it does for a decent amount of people

I think its worth the money, no noticeable gains but sure beats that nasty accordian thing

Got the VR PD and yes it rubs the liner. I'm none to happy cause I spent countless hours smothing painting and wet sanding. My cure, Im going to wrap it in 3M clear.

Just installed BBK polished intake and it rubs, Sad thing is it's a custom embroidered liner. All I can do is hope for the best
