How wide are my wheels?
I pretty much bought my car nd put it right into storage. I bought it with C6 solid spoke replica wheels. I am in need of new tires and I am noticing that these wheels can be bought in different widths. The front has 245/45/17 and the rear has 275/40/18. Can anybody tell me what this would equate to for a rim width? Also, what size can I safely put on the rear with these wheels? Any help would be great.

Why not pull one front and one rear wheel off the car and look on the inside of either the spokes or on the back edge of the barrel. Most wheels have the sizes stamped into them somewhere.
Sounds like they are possibly stock sizes (17x8.5, 18x9.5) but only way to be sure is to look.
