That one is also different from the one on my 2000. But, nowhere, on the cap or the owner's manual, does GM/Chev/Corvette recommend Mobil 1 over any other oil that meets the GM4718M requirement. Mobil 1 was the factory fill, therefore the Mobil 1 logo. Paid advertisement. Product placement, like in the movies.
