Remove the outer taillights, then you can reach in and get to the fasteners. There are fasteners in the door sill and the gas filler also. Lastly, the top fasteners are there when you open the trunk lid. The last fastener that may hang you up is in gap between the quarter panel and the hardtop. If you get a skinny t15 you can loosen it a little if necessary. Once you get all the accessible fasteners loose...just jiggle the fender off, you may not have to worry about the one in the gap.
L5's are pretty good out of the mold, but they do need some tweaking. If you can't figure how to even take them off of your car...probably gonna have a bit of a tough time with the whole body work and paint idea...haha.
