Looking at an 03 MY tonight, hope it is as has been stated, if so it might be a winner! Just need to work on price as it is out of budget, but I think we will find some common ground.
I looked at an 03 TR on Monday, it seemed promising as it had 30k on the clock and looked like new. However, between when the pictures were taken and when I drove it some, something happened to it.
The driver's side door was cracked at the edge from most likely being opened into a wall, and I found numerous other defects.
When I drove the car there was a lot of vibration, the steering seemed off, and it pulled to the left.
It has been 10 years since I drove a C5, and I know they are nearing 10 years old, but I don't remember them feeling this rough. I really think that this particular car had a pretty rough life.
Bought an 02 C5Z about a month ago with 24K miles and damn near perfect shape. Only defects found are passenger window stopped working and the lock on that door only unlocks but will not lock. Paid $24500, thougth that was a fair price for us both, buyer and seller. Very happy with the car. Wait and look you will find the right car.
I too am shopping for a Z06. Car shopping is great sport. I have my eye on an 02 EB with 30k miles for 25. Seems a little high so I am hoping the dealer will negotiate a bit.

Yes, that does seem high. I think 21-22ish would be a fair price for it (assuming it is in excellent condition).
I have around 22 or 23k to spend so I am looking for the nicest car I can find for that amount. Thanks for the input! I have a CTS-V so I know these LS engines are stout.
The passenger window seems to be a common problem. Two easy things to try. 1) Press the down button on the window and hit the door panel just above and forward of the interior door handle. 2) Pull the door panel and tap the back of the window motor while someone holds the window down button on the driver's side. Both procedures require the ignition switch on.
I had to do option 2 and my window has worked ever since. Every couple of times I drive the car, I cycle the window to make sure it keeps moving.
