Default tire size suggestions

so far this is what i want, and i would like recommendations on tire sizes as im a little confused with them.

looking at black chrome c6 z06 replicas for my C5

17x9.5 front
18x10.5 rears
305 35 18 MT ET drag radials for the rear's
as for front im unsure as to what size i should look for and what brand etc. any inputs? thoughts on the choice for the rears?

i do not want to worry about codes being thrown or any problems with the car. i do not daily the car but i do drive it often on the street and will occasionally hit the 1/4 this season.

i found a set of nitto nt555 255/40R17 or possibly the nt05 for the fronts in that same size or do i need somthing size 45?
im thinking these would work good for the fronts. id like like to get the sizes confirmed that they would work with my c5 and give me code troubles etc.

my car has both TC and AH

A 255x40 (25" diameter), would better than a 255x45 (26" diameter). The 305x35x18 will be 26.4" tall, and the AH system wants the front/rear size diff. to be >0.5" & <1.5".

So the 255x40 should work just fine...

As for the model, the nt555 would be better in wet conditions, but with drag radials on the rear I don't expect you'll be driving in the rain, so I'd probably lean towards the nt05.

I'm running Nitto NT555 305/35R/18's in back and Nitto NT555 275/40R/17 in front on the same size wheels you are planning to use. No active handling issues.

with the offsets listed how would the rims look opposed to the fenders?

Size 18x10.5 Bolt Pattern 5x4.75 Offset +56mm

Size 17x9.5 Bolt Pattern 5x4.75 Offset +54mm

id post a link to the wheels but i don't think i can?
