My 2002 Vert has water on the carpet behind each seat. here is it coming from? The car is not in a garage,it has been sitting in the snow from time to time. I noticed fog on my windows, on a warm day. Went to investigate and found the carpet soaked behind each seat. Any thoughts?
You need to sit in the car and have a friend use a garden hose to simulate rain. Start with a light spray coming down as vertical as you can, then vary the direction until you hopefully figure it out. Very likely the rubber seal at the back where it rests on the body.
Should not be hard to figure out. Sam

Your rear window might be seperating from your top
If the car sits with the front lower than the back, water can collect under the rear rubber seal on the top and soak under it. Something to consider. Also the door glass shouldn't close over the edge of the top and should be snug against the rubber weatherstrip. Do you have windnoise around the windows driving with the top up?

No wind noise, car sits level at all times and the window is against the weatherstrip. Are there any drain holes around the top that could be clogged?
I found my leak with a water hose. It was the rubber weatherstrip piece that is right where the top folds at the top of the window. It had moved about 1/8 inch towards the front of the vehicle. A simple tug towards thr rear of the car took care of it. Thanks for all the responses.

Nice, the hose got you out of trouble instead of the other way around!

glad that solved your problem. on my 04, even with what appears to be the proper fit, i can almost always count on getting some dripping from that point (on both sides) in some of our very heavy tropical rainstorms should i get caught out in one.
