SLP Blackwing Question
I just bought SLP BlackWing for an 01 Z06
I was previously running an AFE filter with AFE PowerDuct.
AFE has the MAS going right into the filter, then that attaches to the power duct.
SLP says I should use my stock connector.
Can I use the AFE PowerDuct and SLP filter? Can I force my MAF into the SLP filter directly?(seems like a tight fit!)
Please help
Thanks

I would install the Blackwing as per the instructions, They spent a lot of time to come up with the best set up for the filter.

I understand - but I find it hard to believe that you can get a blackwing air filter and only be able to use the stock air duct? Does that make sense to you guys? The stock air duct is small compared to the AFE. I thought the more air the better???

About the only way you will know whether you can do it the way you describe is just try it, but I think I would stick with what Blackwing suggests.

Why did you decide to change? Was the AFE filter damaged? I had to use my stock maf adapter on the power duct because it was too big for my 99. The AFE filter that came with mine was a tight fit, if it were any larger I would have had to cut some off of the power duct.
