Gauge and Information center problem
Today I got my 97 out of winter storage and developed an onboard computer and gauge problem.
Every year I store the vette in a heated basement and disconnect the negative battery cable.
Yesterday I hooked up the battery and tried to start it. The battery was weak so I used a jumper pack and it started.
When I looked at the instrument panel none of the gauges were working and the information center had a row of blocks all the way across it.
I charged the battery and drove it around awhile and the problem was still there.
The funny thing is if you open the driver’s door the information center says door ajar and all the gauges start working.
Anybody have any suggestions or have this problem?
