Default Suspension settle time?

I got some new bushings here and there along with new shocks and adjusted the lowering bolts a bit. How long does it take for the suspension to settle after being jacked up?

Does it have to be driven for it to settle properly? Im not sure If I should mess with them again (to get the height I want) its been sitting for about about 2 days on the ground now.

I have read that some say it will settle right away and others say drive it a few miles, When I lowered mine I drove it maybe 5 miles and it did change a little and no more after that.

My buddies say drive it for 20 or so miles with some bumps along the way.

Be sure to get it aligned real soon after any suspension changes. Tire wear will happen fast if you don't!

I lowered mine on the stock bolts and it took about a week of driving for it to settle to it's final height.

Should it be aligned after changing just shocks?

Take it for a drive in the canyon and it should settle for sure - adjust as needed!

But usually for me it's not too long, a good drive around town usually makes it settle - I find some good road dips that are not harsh and doing driveways at an angle - you know make the suspension work and settle!

Thanks,Matt
