But the stock wheels can be either painted silver or a high polished finish. Which one they are will determine the price.

the magnesium ones are much pricier. (sort of gold colored)
Painted thin spokes go for $200-500,,, curb rash will hurt you big time.
Polished in great condition may fetch you a few $$ more.

Check out your local cragislist to see what others are listing them for. The above quote of $200-500 does seem to be the going price depending on condition.

If they're clear coated they're probably polished. So easier question, are they shiney?

Yes they are shiney, as for pictures they are packed in boxes
in my attic, not crazy about hauling them out unless someone
wanted to buy them. Thanks for all the input

And this little thread just goes to show you how good the forum can be.

I've been looking for a nice set of thin-spokes, but I didn't want to trust a seller where I had to pay for shipping and couldn't see the wheels.

Well it just so happens that Cessna10 and I live about 20 minutes apart. We met this morning, made a fair sale for both parties and everyone came away happy. Another win for the Corvette Forum.

BTW Cessna10, nice home, pretty wife. Congratulations on both!

Well she's HIS wife, you'll have to ask Cessna.

Actually, he gave me the wheels for free. The money was just to get to look at his wife.

polished go for $400 in perfect condition... but that means the buyers will want pics to verify condition....
Go get'm out of the attic and take some pics if you want to sell them.
If they have curb rash at all price drops to about $25 a piece.
