1 to 1.5 hr drive south on I-55 to Pontiac, IL... about 20 murals throughout the downtown to take pictures in front of, great day trip...here is a couple pics below.
My next trip is downtown Chicago for some pics. I want to take some by the Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Soldier Field, and the Cell, and Wrigley Field. I heard you can take some great pics of the skyline near the Planetarium.
If you're looking for warehouse backgrounds, there's plenty on the south side (Ashland south of 35th). I'd go on a Sunday morning when things are quiet. Or head into Fulton Market area. Lots of cool loading dock type stuff there. Nature backgrounds are tough in the city, so head to the burbs. Oak Brook around Graue Mill is nice. The aforementioned Arboretum is nice, but things aren't in full bloom yet, plus you have to pay to get in. St. Charles area is nice as well.
Park it in front of Wills tower off Jackson and John Handcock building off Michigan street.. There are a lot of nice places off Michigan street.... Also great places all over down town... Also Addison with wrigley field..

Too be honest... I am a Reds fan... Living in Chicago it seems like more cubs fans than white sox.... But the White sox fans are die hards... Unlike seeing a cubs game where every is people looking the white sox just doesn't get enough credit... When was the Cubs last world series championship?
Bloomington Gold; your vette on a fairway next to a pond pretty unique
Oh yeah. Sorry I cant upload the pic, but I posed by the pond on one of the greens with two other guys. It was a gorgeous looking day that June. Thats actually a picture everybody with a Vette should take when theyre there. another great pose would bed at the old gas station next to the museum at Mid America Motorworks in Effingham.
