Default wheel opinions

I have a c5 coupe in electron blue. Ive ordered the c6 z06 wheels with a lip and im having them powdercoated bronze with the lip remaining polished. Rear wheel is a 18x10.5 and front is 18x8.5. Will these rear wheels come out to edge of.fender or will i need a spacer to achieve this look? First vette, i come from a long line of mustangs and Marauders. Thx for the help

I just looked at an order guide and C6 Z06 front wheels are 18" X 9.5", rear wheels are 19" X 12".

Where did you get your numbers?

Base C6 wheels are 18" X 8.5" and 19" X 10.0".

We would need the offsets to answer the question.

Hey JT welcome over!!! I still own 2 mustangs so I guess I'm on both sides....LOL

The rears should for the most part be flush with the fender (you got stock size C5 Z06 rears). Of course the offset will determine that. Look into the offset of the rears & let us know.

The fronts would appear to be slightly narrow (stock front C5 Z06 wheels are 9.5 in width), but again it all depends on the offset. Good luck!!!

Post pics when they are on the car!!!!!

Or at least the back spacing.

Some manufacturers keep stock offsets and some push them out 1/4" or so.

I am considering changing my 99 convertible to 18's all around. What size tires are you going to use?

Those look great on your vette. What sizes are your wheels and tires? How do you like the ride? Very nice car!

They are Z06 sizes, 17/9.5 with 265/40's on front and 18/11 with 295/35's on rear. Firestone Wide Ovals (non RF's)

Moving from the runflats, the ride is better, quieter with more grip. You do lose a bit of fuel economy and a bit of initial turn-in, both due to the extremely hard sidewall of the GY Run Flats.
