I can only speak from my own experience. I have a Z exhaust, and when the shop put the hitch on (same process as removal) they had a heck of a time. They didn't end up removing the exhaust, but said it would have been a lot easier if they had.
Of course, every hitch brand is probably different.
I have a '01Z, I wish to carry a US flag in a parade at the Vets in Vetts this year in Bowling Green. A club member will give me his if I remove it.
Just wanting to know how much time will be needed to remove it

at the road course in college station tx we would see vettes, porsches, etc towing a small trailer with track tires. They would drive in on street tires, switch, run their track day, switch back and go home.
