Just thought I'd share a cool pic of my 02 Z06 lurking behind my client's '62. Exactly 40 years between these Vettes.

I imagine next year we'll be seeing line-ups of the seven cars representing 1953 to 2013. Only one body style will be in there twice.

I love C1's. Definitely my favorite body style and that one looks like a beauty. Too bad they don't drive as nice as they look.

By far that's my most favorite Corvette style EVER! I would love to have a 1962 Vette, but alas, I wouldn't enjoy driving it much. But if you could transplant the body onto a C5 chassis.

Great pic and that is one fine looking C1. And the Z06 is too.

Cool pic. Here's my Z06 reflected in the door of my '70. 31 years difference.

Escenntially, you can. There are several companies that build frames with fully independant suspension systems, and put the car lower to the ground where it should be. They allow you to take a classic Vette, and make it handle like it should. I am trying to drill this into my dad' s head now, while he is working on his `57. He wants to restore it. I want to make it what Zora Arkus-Duntov would have made it, had the technology been there in his time!

One I ran across at a Palm Springs auction. Made from a C5 drop top. made by CRC. Went way over my budget.
