Default C5 Drivers Side Sun Visor GM Part #?

Does anyone know the GM part number for a 2004 driver's side (left) sunvisor? I tied searching at GM Partshouse and Parts Taxi and came up empty. I guess sun visor is not the correct term.

Also, anyone know if the aftermarket visors/vanity mirrors offered from Mid America and Corvette Central are as good as OEM? Maybe even better?

OEM sunshades quality sux. Bought aftermarket online at theBay a couple years ago. Happy so far. Shop around, prices vary widely.

option 2, get yours repaired at an upholstery shop

Forum vendor VetteNuts sells reproduction sunvisors. Contact him at Marc@vettenuts.net (forum name).

I also remember there was another vendor here on the forum selling sunvisors but can't recall the name right now.

Here's my issue. I already had my OEM visors recovered in leather by Vette Essentials. The vanity mirror hinge door broke on my drivers side visor so I need to get another visor to have covered in leather. Vette Essentials has agreed to cover the new visor for only the cost of the leather so I am curious if the after market, or less costly visors have the same vanity mirrors, etc. I don't want one visor to be different than the other.

I've already tried a couple used Vette parts vendors and I haven't been able to locate a replacement that isn't in really bad shape. Since VE simply covers the visor, I still need one that is in good shape and where the vanity mirror still works and is also in good shape.

This would be a good time to upgrade and get a visor with Homelink (garage door opener built in). I forget the vendor I got mine from but you can do a search.

Yep. I'm thinking the same thing. I just need to confirm if VE can cover with leather if the Homelink button plastic section is already installed.
