Almost anything by ZZ TOP but especially 'Waitin on the bus' and 'LaGrange'. Also, Van Halen's 'Hot for teacher'. The unstructured drum intro always reminds me of a top fuel dragster idling at the christmas tree.

Gun Love

There are so many songs that give me the heavy foot I couldn't pick just one. I have a folder on my ipod titled Road trip and most of the songs are groovin drivin songs. From country to Rock from Elvis to Kiss and everything in between. From 1956 to 2012.

I'm a huge music buff. One reason I don't care for a vert or targa. Gets in the way of music. My two favorite things are driving cool cars and listening to music. I have most of the songs mentioned here in my folder.

He said "speed," not "sleep."

In 1971, driving from Lowry AFB (Colo) to Dallas at night, I would play Dr. John's Zu Zu Mau Moo, and find myself going 90, just listening to the music and the rush of air. Did it for me every time.

The Alan Price Set's version of "I put a spell on you" pushed my (go) button, too.

Theme from "Rocky" came on the radio the other day just as i hit a passing lane on the mountain road. I had been stuck behind some slowpoke for 20 miles. Well you know the rest of the story!
