I broke the Vette.

I went to the track last night and made half of a pass and lost all my gears. Feels like they are engaging but when i let the clutch the car will NOT move at all and it sounds horrible. something is broke and just spinning around in there. Any thoughts as to what happened. im sure somebody has had this problem before.

Sounds like an input shaft, though that would of happened at the line most likely

output shaft in the diff, does the speedometer in the car still work

Yeah my first car. I stripped every forwrd gear at once. Drove home in reverse (Wash DC) for miles in the middle of the night.

It has rpm lvl5 trans and lvl2 rear so and a ram twin disc clutch I really don't understand how anything broke. I don't know if the speedo works as it won't move at all. I make 700 at the wheels.

Main shaft in trans?

Although when mine broke, it made no noise when in gear.

Yes I do. Dte trans brace. Came with my trans from RPM.

I believe he's asking if the speedo still thinks you're moving (going up in MPH) when you press the accelerator, although from the sounds of it that is not the case..

Thanks and I don't skimp on anything. But I won't really know till I pull the trans out. May just go ahead and get the TR6060 setup!

All I know is that the rear end cradle has to come out.
