Default New lugs, need some advice

Looking for a set of new lug nuts for my C5Z to mount up my CCWs. Wheels are satin black, car is black with torch red interior, thinking black or red lugs.

In the past of i have used McGaurd and Gorilla. I have also used Volk and once aluminum lugs (forgot manufacturer). The aluminum's were on 4 season car, boy was that ever a mistake, I dont recommend aluminum nuts for winter drivers lol. I see these vision lug nuts all over ebay and WCC has some acorn style black nuts.

Last season I used the OEM lugs with my CCWs, chrome looked awful, what's the consensus on lugs here on the forum? Open/closed ended? Aluminum/Steel, manufacturer?

I would say if you can find them in McGuard or Gorilla go black, In my opinion red just wouldn't look right to me, Next would be chrome...

I recommend the black Gorilla Acorns in 12 x 1.50 format and satin black. I also have gorilla stainless steel nuts on my cummins (torque specs on all eight nuts is 160 foot pounds witch is impressive) and they have been through three winters and are in "like new" condition still (Gorilla's are guaranteed never to break or rust too, I believe) Only 38 bones for 20 nuts for the vette online too! Cant beat that (especially since the truck nuts cost $175….)

You can kinda see the stainless here…

Hope that helps. I got the 3/4" instead of the 13/16" for clearance. Brandsport.com for the good deal and fast shipping….
