Default Best Bluetooth aftermarket

Hi!

I am looking for a Bluetooth part to work with my iPhone. So I can hear it through my speakers and talk hands free. Has anyone had any luck with these devices?

Thanks!

Parrot makes a good unit what sound system do you have you can replace the stock unit for under 500.00 and have built in BT or look at the Parrot system here is a link for this system

I have the Motorola Roadster and let's just say I can't live without it

It does what you want, plus you can also stream music from your phone in stereo without any cables. In addition, it reads you incoming text messages and allows you to verbally reply to them or dictate new ones. There is an app that enhances this process (MotoSpeak), but I think it's just for Androids.

Check the specs here. Better pricing and more specs here.

I changed to a Kenwood head unit that has the Parrot Bluetooth built in and it works great. Mounted the mic on the top of the A post.

Question: How does it work in the Vert? I can see success in the z06 or coupe but in the vert, I have to believe the noise is too much. Comments?

Lots of wind noise. I've moved the mic everywhere. What seems to work best for me is under the rear view mirror.

Had to move mine around a few times, too. Got mine coming out from under my dash mat ( Hey, I know, but it's better than a dried up cracked/split dash.) in the middle. I think I might move it to the steering column.

I would have to think BMW has addressed this issue. In their Verts, the mic is on top of the steering column behind the steering wheel, but in their coupes, they are like everyone else, in the top liner above the driver.

I have a convertible and use a Bluetooth ear piece in my left ear. With the windows rolled up I can hear quite well, even when flying down the highway at 80. Tried The others and my wife on the other end did not like talking when I was driving. I myself did not like the option on my Alpine head unit because it took over my cell phone and I had no control of it. If it had a link/unlink button it would have been alright but when I got close To the car it took over.

Thanks for the responses. I'll now consider a blue tooth device.
