Default Chrome Billet Radio *****, Dimmer **** and A/C Control ***** - Opinions ?

What are the opinions of the Chrome Billet Radio *****, A/C Control ***** and Dimmer **** ?

Do these look appropriate once installed in a C5 with all black interior ?

I found a 9 piece set on the auction site for $88 shipped. I know that there are cheaper sets out there but they usually only consist of 2 or 4 *****.

This set includes the "Hard-To-Find" 4 small radio ***** for treble, bass, fader, and balance. It also includes the hard to find Dimmer Control ****. All in Chrome Billet.

So included in Chromed Billet is: 2 A/C *****, 2 Large Radio *****, 4 small radio *****, and 1 Dimmer Control **** .

Not sure how the chrome look would fit in on a C5 with all black interior.

Opinions on looks and bang-for-buck ????

Please post pictures if you have them.

Have them bead blasted and powder coated in a satin black. Shouldn't be real expensive.

Wanted to get away from ALL black.

Thought the chrome would dress things up a bit ???

I've been looking at the same set for awhile now, but unsure of the look myself so haven't pulled the trigger.

Interested in some pics as well.....

I found them online. They are not bad looking but again, I'm concerned about contrast for 'contrast's sake'. I did find the ad confusing, didn't know what I would be buying. I think it should be something that could be photoshopped. Maybe I'll play with that later. As I thought, the pic on the website is too reflective to show what WE want to see.
Here's a link for the best one.

I've had them for a couple years...don't pay $80...mine cost me around $55. Never could see changing out just the big *****... This is another example of our forum vendors missing the boat on an item that would sell well. When I first posted the pics not one vendor contacted me about where I got them.... Not the best picture, but you can see the "completeness" of having those 4 little ***** in the set.

Jerry, I think they look nice on your dash, but I'd love to see a less reflective pic so we can see the silver color better.

Those look good on $$$frumnuttin's interior. Might have to consider a set now that I've had various interior panels painted EB to match the outside of the car. for the source.

I'll look for better pics. I know I have some somewhere...I currently am not running this setup due to electrical gremlins in my head unit....actually have a tape player in there!

I have them installed on my climate control unit. I also had the chrome radio ***** before I upgraded to a double-din NAV head unit.

I like the idea mentioned earlier about the brushed black finish, especially the ones with a rubber grip. I would like to swap mine out for something that is better than the OEM plastic ***** yet an improvement over my existing chrome *****. Something that more closely matches the volume **** on the Kenwood NAV head unit.

ok, I found a pic with better appearance of the chrome...I'll keep looking for others...I know I took a lot of photos when I did that interior makeover a few years ago.....

Just found a few more....these should give you a better idea of the continuity of it all....

If I find time I will transfer them over to the tape player and standard HVAC unit that are black with no red hydrocarbon finish to show them on the stock pieces.
