Default Drilled/Slotted rotors

Anyone have recommendations on where to purchase a set of drilled/slotted rotors? I placed an order through PartsTaxi for the Baer Eradispeeds but then got an email saying they were now discontinued...looking to stay in that price range of $400-$500...thoughts??

I got a set from Brakemotive ordered through the forum. $180 shipped with ceramic pads all 4 wheels. I haven't installed but they look great. Others here say they have them with no issues. Maybe do a search.

You send em a PM with email and they write it up with the forum discount. You can send me the extra 300 bucks.

A friend of mine got some from

brakeperformance.com

They were pretty good, pads may not be the best, but they were free. They are dimpled not drilled (but they have cross drilled also), dimpled are supposed to be better. Several color options.

I bought this same set from Brakemotive.

I have already installed mine and painted the calipers at same time.

I have no issues and customer service thru PM's on this forum was great. Answered all of my questions pleasantly.

$180 TOTAL shipped to my house for ALL 4 Drilled and Slotted rotors and Ceramic Pads. How can you beat that.

To add some bling to my efforts, I installed a set of Polished Stainless Steel brake pad covers at the same time for a touch of chrome.

Thanks Brakemotive for the great price and friendly replies to my PM's.

Yes ... I thought it was a great deal also. I actually tried to find negative reviews on brakemotive and I could not find any....lol

I forgot to mention .. The Brakemotive Rotors come with Zinc Plating to prevent rust. So thats why the rotor hubs are so silvery.

Here are some pics. But I took them in a dimly lit garage so hopefully they are ok.

Yup Brakemotive here as well. Over a year, few thousand miles on them and they still look great, stop well no high spot pulsing issues.

Why drilled and slotted and not just drilled? Is there any difference in pad life with slotted?

Gee, wish I'd have known about the forum discount!! One more vote for BrakeMotive. Ordered mine off ebay shipped for $204.45. Forum discount would have been good but was unaware.

Does PartsTaxi stock the Baer Decelarotors? Are the discontinued too?

I've had mine on for about a year now. You'll hear no complaints about them from me. Even gave me a military discount. Under $200.00 for 4 rotors and 4 sets of pads with free shipping!

The brakemotive web site has a good discussion about drilled/slotted rotors. I had mine just cross drilled and not slotted. I guess some experts claim the slots actually wear down the pads prematurely.

I have had my brakemotive rotors and pads on for almost a year now. They still look good and perform well.
