I have a borla system and would really like to lower the drone noise while driving top up on the highway but dont wanna spend 130 dollars if it dont do much difference. Looks pretty good though.

Looks like the one I made for my car. I have Magnaflows on mine and they about drove me nuts below 1600 rpm. After I installed mine, I can live with the drone. At 2000 rpm I can barely hear it now. Well worth the effort or purchase as far as I'm conserned.

How and where did u get the material...how much did it run you
I put one in to quiet down the noise from the tires and to protect the top from the golf clubs and luggage. It works pretty well for that. For the drone issue, I replaced the Magna Flows my car came with for a Corsa.
My 2000 convertible has Corsa exhaust. I didn't notice a lot of drone but there was a resonance comong from the trunk area, especially with the top up. I bought the foam partition piece from Zip Corvette. It is carpeted on the trunk side and edges but not on the interior side. Works quite well.

I just used a piece of 1/4 in plywood that I had left over from another project, and covered it with some thick black carpet like stuff that my son wrapped a sub box with. So cost was 0.

Maybe it's me but I've got Corsa Extremes on my 02 convertible and there's no drone at any speed..I've got a foam partition that I glued to a 3/8" board and covered with black material...but before the partition there wasn't any drone...partition helps some in general road noise but mainly for heat and air....although neither needed assistance to me
I picked up something similar, but it was foam core, not MDF and had the C5 logo on it. Sorry, I can't recall where I got it. One of the prominent vendors on this site though.
I think it's helped cabin noise quite a bit, but I rarely drive with the top up..
I have stock exhaust. I bought one that is pure foam. Looks great, does nothing useful.
I have a c-5 with a removable hard top. I am looking for a partition made of transparent material so I can still use the inside rearview mirror. Do any of you know a source?
You'll notice from their ad that you have to remove their partition in order to access the center storage bin. If this isn't a common occurrence for you then it will help marginally for sound reduction. The one I have is made from a hard plastic, covered on both sides with carpet, but it slants inward (under the stowed top) about two-thirds the way down, so I can still remove the center storage lid without removing the partition. I bought it from a forum member used, but it was made by the Crazy Cowboy (supporting vendor) and sold thru Exotic Vette.

i have something very similar that i also bought from a forum member here a while ago. i have a B&B mild to wild exhaust and find that it did reduce overall interior noise particularly at highway speeds. it have had it sitting on a shelf for the longest time because i found that i really needed the extra room in the trunk area when the top is up, particularly when carrying the "normal" stuff to attend a car show down here in south florida in the summer time. i guess i didn't miss it enough to keep using it. guess it's time to take some pictures of it and put it up for sale, lol.
I live here on the surface of the sun, aka Houston in the summer. Most of the posts here on partitions are in relation to exhaust noise. I have another angle. I'm thinking a partition would help the a/c to be more effective. Can I also assume these partitions don't cut off the rear speakers ? Lastly, are there any cutout templates out there for a C5 convertible partition ? Thanks for your input.
