false low coolant warning?
Hopped in the vette tonight at work to head home and got low coolant on the dic. Checked coolant after car cooled on flat surface. All is good. I was parked on a bit of a steep incline at work. anybody else get a false coolant warning when parked on an incline? I'm guessing that's what caused it but it might be something else.

Thanks for the reply. Coolant was up to the line. I think being parked on the incline moved the float because it hasn't displayed any issues since. I've never had any cooling issues with either C5 that I've owned but the '91 I drove for years had all kinds of issues. I would freak out watching the temp guage go higher and higher. I think I'm paranoid from the old days.

yes, that has happened to me a couple of times...
I was leaving a spiral parking garage when I got the warning. Haven't happened since then so I attributed it to the steep decent of the parking garage.
