Hope you get it fixed, but most are trying to get the light NOT to come on.

I did find the fuse box under the driver side carpet. thanks and that was all is was ken

When I bought my '01 four months ago, the light under the hood did not work. I replaced the bulb and it worked fine. It comes on and off when the hood and is up, then closed.

yes I checked the fuses those two are ok is there any other that would effect the light

are you talking the brighness of the light itself or that it is coming on at all. ths ken
