Intake Tubing
I bought a new dual cone intake for my c5 and it didn't come with a tube to replace the big rippled tube that directly connects to the throttle body. Yes this was a cheap intake so I didnt expect much (better than stock IMO) does anyone know where I could find a rubber hose or connector piece with a big oval opening on one end and a circle opening on the other (to fit the tb) I have heard the ripples in an intake tube can cause restricted airflow. The smoother the better? thanks for the help!

Are you referring to this type of air intake?
If so the large ribbed hose you are referring to does not attach to the duel cone filter. It attaches to the air bridge. See the red coupler in my pictures. I replaced the ribbed coupler with the red one.

Thanks for the help guys! Mine looks just like the one in the pics except I don't have the carbon fiber piece (I'm using stock piece) I have it setup just like yours but you have a straight orange tube that connects your throttle body and the carbon fiber piece. Is the opening on the carbon fiber piece not big an oval like the stock piece? I want to eliminate my rippled piece. Like you did on yours. Great pics! Looks clean!
