I have just recently had my car updated with some bolt ons.
1999 w 60k miles.
K&N 57-3020.
XSPower 1 3/4" headers plus catted exhaust.
Borla Stinger Dual Tip exhaust.
Tune from Arun@CCP
I haven't put the car on the dyno so no HP or tq numbers to share but the seat of my pants can certainly vouch for thE gain.
Driving home from Cambridge here's what I noticed:
At Start up, deep throaty rumble. Nice crackle, pop and burble.
Driving around in low gears there's lots of fun, and a great exhaust note. I want to say its some kind of harmonic of each bank of exhaust it sounds very cool.
Wide open throttle in second gear around 20 mph leaves rubber all over te place. The sound is ferocious. Not offensive. Though maybe so outside the car.
On the highway, 100-115 in 6th at WOT is deafening inside the car. Drone, hell on wheels. At 117 or higher at cruise the exhaust is barely audible.
500 km gas mileage on the way to Cambridge. 27.2 mpg.
500 km gas mileage on the way home was 28.8.
I had 30 minutes of stop and go traffic both directions. Both trips at night.
I'm super satisfied with the sound and the feel of the tune and performance.
A lumpy, lopey cam is the next thing I'll be after.
XS Power headers is highly recommend. Mechanic seemed to have no issue installing them. AR tube and dipstick mod was quick and painless he'd said.
I've had mine installed for about 6 months now almost the same mods as OP. XS (no cats) B&B bullets and K&N, no tune yet tho bc I got the lopey cam on the shelf waiting for install. I love start up and getting on it. I had my cousin take off in front me while I tailed him in his civic and man he disappearred visually but u could still hear him a ways away....
Love mine
After doing extensive research, I decided to purchase the XS Power Headers and catted X-Pipe for my 2003 C5. First and foremost, the customer service from Joe at XS Power is second to none. My order was placed later in the day on Friday the 26th. He mentioned that if they didn't leave that day, which I didn't expect, that they would ship out Monday and I should have them Tuesday. By noon on Tuesday They were on my door step. I also got a follow up email saying I should receive them that day. The products came wrapped in plastic and packaged very well. Everything is included. The gaskets are all stainless steel with round bolt holes like the factory manifolds, and the clamps look to be of good quality too. Looking at other brands such as Kooks and LG makes me feel I made the right choice. I see no reason to spend hundreds more for a name. I'm hoping to have them installed next week, and I'll give an update on how the install went.
I am running same headers with Corsa cat back. Love them. Really quiet at 2000RPM and very aggressive over 3000. Tunnels are definitely taken with the windows down and a downshift.
I just decided to get a Dyno Tune after hearing about the extra power I could pick up. She made 365 HP and 371 Torque at the wheels. All mods including the XS Power Headers and catted X-Pipe are Halltech Stinger Cold Air Intake, Corsa Xtreme Cat-back, and of course the tune. I felt immediate power with just the installation of the cold air intake, and the headers, but the tune really woke things up. When, or if I decide on another Corvette, I'll be ordering another set of these headers. Last but not least, if you're in VA, or close by and want a great tune, contact Matt Shue.

What are others doing with the O2 bung connection 4 wide band. I just put the bolt from the factory in tight. Should I have sealed that with Loctite or a rubber o-ring gasket?
