Make sure you pay attention to the speed limit when you cross over to another state right after the bridge, i sure didnt my fault paying the fine have a good day and drive safe
Sorry to hear about your misfortune. This also holds true when travelling from city to city. Here in Texas, speed limits can vary from 75 to 30 in a blink of an eye. If you're lucky, you might see a Reduced Speed Limit Ahead sign.

hwy 90 going into castroville, drops from like 60 to 45 immediately. i have seen cops sitting right beside the 45 sign waiting
As of right now, I'm not tailing anyone - just sticking to the limits.
Thanks for the info.
my strategy is to find a car going fast and let them go way up so they are almost out of sight and then match their speed. that way if any speed traps are ahead they will take the ticket, you just gotta worry about cops merging onto the freeway or coming up from behind. Just make sure you can always see the other car (I call it a blocker) and if they suddenly get on their brakes you should slow down too.

Very true, Here in Pennsylvania, years ago they raised the speed limit on the turnpike to 65MPH and some other roads. But I had a chance to chat with a PA state trooper once. I asked about having a red Corvette and if they were a special kind of car that invites speeding tickets, but he said "No! but if you set your cruise-control at 69MPH you'll never get a ticket in PA. He went on to say the speed limit is 65, and they give you 5 MPH for speedometer error.
I do that and I've not gotten a ticket. But I have also been changing some of my bad habits like going through a yellow light, I stop even if I have to back up but I'm mentally changing my driving and the bad habits I've picket up over the years. I'm even taking a defensive driving course as well. I'm trying to become a better more responsible driver over-all.
Are you talking about going into Jeffersonville, In? I can only assume. It's a trap on both sides. Lots of people going back and forth for commerce activities.

Man there are coppers behind every bridge and tree in Texas. It's really a shame what it's turned into now. Kinda disgusting actually.

Nope, they've broken you and you are conforming. Kinda like smokes, once they break us all, they'll move on to the next nuisance making activity.

I usually go 10-15kmh over and it's fine up here.

I did take a driving course when I first got my license at 16 - learnt lots (mainly little tricks that my Dad would not have thought to tell me). Lately though I've noticed that my driving is slacking a bit. So I too am trying to become more responsible in my driving.
Got a speeding ticket on my way to pick up the '98 from the show that it was in 2 months ago. Was doing 95kmh on a 60kmh road (country road). 2 cops in the car. The girl who wrote the ticket was obviuosly a trainee... I just wish I would have gotten the ticket driving the 'Vette instead of the Civic!

lol...man, i can't wait until they break the "hey, let me share my smoke with you" nuisance...every year. less and less Americans are picking up the cancer stick...as for speeding, be responsible and use caution

yeah, I'm ready to move on to the war with Big Mac's and super sizing myself.
Tired of looking at the crack of people's butts everytime they bend over.
Then to people who say I got, instead of I have. Drives me bonkers.
As far as driving I drive the speed limits 99% of the time. Learned a long time ago it's not worth the hassle.
