According to the ol' OBD II, I need to replace my "Shift Solenoid B Electrical Circuit". No problem, I can get one at AutoZone for about $40. But...where is it located on a 2000 LS1, and should I disconnect my battery while replacing it since it's electrical?

Not sure what shift solenoid B electrical circuit, would be.
There are 3 shift control solenoids & they are located on the drivers side of the tranny.
Each solenoid has a connector to each one.
There is a 1-2 shift solenoid
2-3 shift solenoid
3-2 shift solenoid
Sorry I'm not of much help.
I'm a M/12 manual shift kind a guy.
Good luck.
