Differences in rear end (long or short)
Hi Folks
Quite possibly a dumb question but I noticed there seems to be a couple of different rear ends on the C5. Some seem to have a longer rear end from the back window, others look more like the rear end of C6, the length of the rear trunk is shorter from the back window. I much prefer the look of a C6 so what model would I look for if shopping for a C5. What are the differences?

You need to know that there are 2 styles of C5's. There is the Coupe version where the back glass reaches towards the rear end, and the FRC(Fixed Roof Coupe) version which is the Z06 and original FRC.
The regular coupe has a removable "Targa" top so it becomes an open air coupe, kinda like a convertible, whereas the FRC or Z06's don't have a removable top.

Sounds like you would like the C5 coupe to me. Shorter length from the back of the hatch to the rear fascia.
